Food Safety Conference

The Food Safety Authority is holding its 5th annual conference – and its first as a standalone government department – later this month. The two-day conference, with the theme “Food into the future”, will be at the Duxton Hotel in Wellington on 26 and 27 September. The conference will feature speakers from the food safety authorities of the United States and European Union, and of Denmark – a market that took nearly $3 million worth of venison in the year to September 2006.
